What We Believe

1.  Salvation by Grace - The term "salvation" is the deliverance from sin and its' consequences.  Salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ only.  Salvation is not earned by your good works.

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."  Romans 6:23

2.  Baptism -  Baptism is an outward expression of an inward experience.  In Scripture, people who were baptized had this done after salvation.  It is a way to show the world that you have died to your old self and have become a new creation in Christ.

"Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life."  Romans 6:4

3.  The Bible - The Bible is the Word of God.  The Bible was written under the inspiration of God.  All Scripture is truth without error.

"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."  2 Timothy 3: 16-17

4.  The Trinity - God is three parts in one with each serving a distinct purpose.  There is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit"  Matthew 28: 19

5.  The Church - The Church is not a building but rather the collective body of believers.  They work as the hands and feet of the Lord to accomplish His purpose.  Each believer has been gifted in ways to benefit the Church.

"But now indeed there are many members, yet one body." I Corinthians 12:20
